NANTWICH & SOUTH CHESHIRE SHOW 2009
DORFOLD ALL PARK, NANTWICH CW5 8LD
We now look forward to our above forthcoming Show, and after such a successful event in 2008 we hope that once more we can have good weather and build on what we have already achieved.
The Directors and Management have again spent considerable time in making significant changes again this year to ensure, that Nantwich Show remains the premier agricultural event in the UK. These changes will see yet further enlargement of:- the renowned Cheese Pavilion which will be housed in a 40m wide pavilion with a new suspended cassette floor, fully air conditioned and extended to some 58,000 sq ft., the new Mornflake Pavilion Food Hall will be positioned within the International Cheese Show Garden Area and will give everyone the very best produce to sample and purchase; the Town & Country Shopping & Trade Pavilion, will be increased in size to accommodate all the exhibitors wishing to attend and will be in its new position in one of the main trade avenues. The showground roadway has been extended to over a mile in length, whilst the Cattle in a new prestigious location have had their marquee coverage enlarged to some 40,500 sq ft, all under one roof, to accommodate the 400 we anticipate to be at the Show this year, and the Countryside Pursuits which has grown and grown, both in popularity and size will be in an enlarged area, to name but some of the improvements being made.
There will be some 12 hours continuous ring displays, from Show Jumping, Heavy Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Dogs, Falconry and Gun Dog Displays, Jazz Music to name but some. However the main attractions will be
Jez Avery Stunt Display & Josephs Amazing Racing Camels
who will both have two performances in the Main Ring – a spectacle not to be missed
Trade displays will encompass approx 400 stands selling and demonstrating every type of retail trade.
Nor must we forget the world renowned Nantwich International Cheese Show, with over 2650 exhibits in 2008 from some 24 countries from all four corners of the world
