DAIRY PRODUCE SCHEDULE 2008 - coming soon
DAIRY ENTRY FORM 2008 - coming soon
The Nantwich International Cheese Show celebrated its Centenary in 1997, and has continued to go from strength to strength. It saw its origins as a Cheese Show within the town of Nantwich, and is now staged at Dorfold Hall Park. This is a beautiful parkland setting, situated on the edge of the historical market town of Nantwich, and which once a year becomes the venue for the largest Cheese Show in the world.
The show is held in a 55,000 sq ft air conditioned marquee, increased yet again for 2008 to incorporate the demand for competitive and trade bookings, and this year with an all new suspended cassette floor.
The estimated 33,000 visitors, will be able to taste and buy the very finest cheeses from all four corners of the world, and with a new record number of competitive entries of 2,250 from some 24 countries in 2007, this firmly established the event as The Greatest Cheese Show in the World.
2008 will see the 2007 record of some 154 Classes yet further extended and will cover everything from the Traditional Farmhouse Cheese, to Stilton, to Continental, to Retailer and to Snacking Classes - something for everyone - if we have missed something just let us know and you will see it at Nantwich in 2009!!
We now welcome your attendance at our Show on Tuesday 29th July (Trade and Press only), and Wednesday 30th July when the Show is open to the public. So whether you are a producer, a retailer, a trade stand holder, a member of the press or just someone simply interested in Cheese, make a note of the date now, and we look forward to giving you a warm welcome at Nantwich International Cheese Show 2008.
